Dark of the Moon has a more serious tone than the first two films. Starting with the space race between the U.S. and the Soviet Union, set up an alternate history film that brings a sense of gravity and meaning of the film. When the film moves from past to present, the audience was greeted by the familiar characters both human and Autobot leader mekanik.Pengembangan character is one of the most enjoyable aspects of the franchise. Dark Moon Events causing Optimus to stay away from the Superman-esque leader of the original film and into the realm of vengeful anti-hero. Think the Punisher in the form of a giant robot. Human player serviced. Meat Shia LeBeauf comedy is still funny, as John Malkovich and (especially) Alan Tudyk provide further comic relief. Megan Fox's much-discussed replacement for Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is nowhere near as bad as everyone (including myself) expected him to be. True acting skills are still somewhat a mystery since half the time he speaks the camera still focused on the mystery behind her.
As usual, the biggest draw in the kind of movie is action. Dark of the Moon gives droves. Say what you will about director Michael Bay, humans are able to arrange some of the most exciting action scenes and inventive in modern cinema. Fortunately, unlike the last few releases, this is one movie that left some of the best material from the trailer and TV spots. A chase between Bumblebee and his followers and three Decepticons are very animalistic in the highway toward the end of the first half is jaw-dropping spectacle.
