Louise Brown

Louise Brown is the first baby in the world of test tube. A masterpiece of Robert Edwards and Patrick Steptoe was born on 25 July 1978, which is a revolution in fertility treatment. Since then, it has been more than 4 million people were born using the technique.

The born of Louise Brown is a big controversy. Many of the cons on the grounds of morality and violates nature, most of the religious group. This is the progress of technology which in turn will benefit the people in the world. Raised hopes for infertile people have babies of their offspring.

Robert Edward won the Nobel prize in physiology or medicine this year, as a form of appreciation for developing in vitro fertilization. Edwards, an 85-year-old professor emeritus at the University of Cambridge, started working on IVF as early as the 1950s. He developed the technique,  in which eggs are removed from a woman, fertilized outside her body and then implanted into the womb, together with British gynecologist surgeon Patrick Steptoe, who died in 1988.
